    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz Socket LGA775 (G0 Stepping)

~G0 stepping is the batch of Q6600 with extreme overclocking
potential and also runs cooler than the previous B3 stepping. As a
result it overclocks superbly from 2.4 GHz to 3.6 GHz using air
cooling. The Q6600 is designed for intensive computer users and
high-end gamers. Since it has four cores, it also more future-proof
    than dual core processors

    Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

~The Freezer 7 Pro HSF is one of the best available coolers making it
the first choice for both Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad processors.

    Antec Nine Hundred

~Other than looking extremely cool, everyone’s favourite case
provides plenty of space for upgrading and an array of cooling
    keeping your system also cool!

    Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L

~This is a very solid motherboard for overclocking. Also the Gigabyte
motherboard will provide more FPS in your games and applications
    than most motherboard.

    ASUS EN8800GT 512MB

~The Asus 8800GT is awesome. Having more stream processors
than its 8800GTS predecessor as well as sporting 512MB of RAM,
they're is no wonder it plays your favourite games at resolutions of
    up to 1,920 x 1,200 while also supporting DirectX10

    3GB RAM
    2048MB Crucial DDR2 BallistiX PC6400 CL4, w/BallistiX Tracer
    1024MB DDR2 PC6400 CL 5, PC6400/800

~With 3GB of RAM, 2GB of which are extreme low-latency and the
latter not far behind, you should never experience any hassle by
the intensive requirements of Vista and modern games. The Ballistix
Tracers on the Ballistix RAM shows the RAM usage visually through a
series of LEDs on the top visable through the Antec Nine Hundred's
    side window.

    Samsung SpinPoint T166 500GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM

~Samsung's 500GB hard disk features high performance and low noise
levels. With the ability to load games faster than Western Digital's
10000RPM Raptor X and proves itself very fast in applications such as
    Paint Shop Pro*

    Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer

~This sound card is every gamer and music fanatics fantasy come
true. The Xtreme Gamer supports up to EAX HD, the latest and
greatest version. The X-fi's greatest feature however is the
Crystalizer, which provides real-time enhancements for audio files
and MP3s. The X-Fi is also compatable with Vista with the
    innovative Creative ALchemy included.

    LG GGC-H20L LightScribe Blu-ray/HD DVD-ROM SATA

~Blu-ray Disc and HD DVDs are a high-density optical disc format for
the storage of digital information, including high-definition video.
This means they have a larger amount of data allowed to be stored
on them and also play new high definition movies. LightScribe is an
optical disc recording technology that utilizes specially coated
recordable CD and DVD media to produce laser-etched labels text
or graphics, as opposed to stick-on labels

    Corsair HX520w

~The Corsair HX520W is nicely positioned in the performance sector.
Rated high enough to be taken seriously by gamers but extremely
efficient and not so high powered to provoke tongue clucking by
energy misers. It is a 120mm fan unit with detachable modular
    cables.

    Microsoft Vista Home Premium 32-bit

~Windows Vista is the newest operating system from Microsoft. It
provides futuristic 3D effects and Windows Gadgets. It also boasts
High Definition support and DirectX 10 gaming which are not
    available on Windows XP.

    Free DirectX 10 Game:
    Company Of Heroes: Opposing Fronts

    Free Blu Ray Movie:
    Spiderman 3

    Free:
    Black Unisex T-shirt

I think its a great value for money computer for the stated price of €1675. Supporting High Definition, DirectX 10, Blu-Ray, HD DVD, Windows Vista, Lightscribe Technology, Four Core Multithreading, 3GB of high speed RAM and more, don't expect to need a new computer for a long time after purchasing this.

    *paint shop pro not included.

By my calculations its overpriced by about 200 , I can find all the parts otherwise for approx 1250. Including OS.

a gig of ram is nowhere near enough if youre spending more than 700 quid on a machine either

I wouldn't. Expensive. No monitor included?

I just spec'd a similar machine on Komplett with 4gb of Ram and a 20" Samsung Monitor. Came to 1,650.

    20" Syncmaster
    Q6600
    8800GT
    4Gb Ram
    Ds3L Board
    Antec 900
    520w Corsair PSU
    X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
    Pioneer Blu Ray
    500GB Spinpoint
    Vista

The one in the first post has a hd dvd drive as well though. Personally I would go with either at the moment.

Oh yeah I meant to say that's as I was using Komplett alone, you can get a combo drive from overclockers.co.uk for a tiny bit more.

The GA-P35-DS3S would be a better choice of mobo if your considering overclocking especially while your getting a G0

Ya, and you forgot the extremely expensive Freezer 7 pro... I doubt it would make up for the 206bw in the difference... hmm..
