Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

XBOX live trouble when connecting wirelessly

    Hi there,

Trying to figure out what is wrong with my friends xbox as he cannot connect to xbox live when he tried wirelessly but when connected straight into the router 'wired' it works fine.

The problem is that the IP Address fails when connected wirelessly. Now its connected ok its nothing to do with the WEP address, it could be to do with the DHCP i thought but that all seems to be fine when i am in the routers settings. He is on eircom broadband.

Is there any advice you guys can give or anything for me to try?

    Cheers,

    go here: http://192.168.1.254/indexRES.htm?natRES.htm

enable xbox live games from the list.

    then set firewall to low.

Yeah i've done that. As i said i can play online when i have it wired connected so if i hadn't of changed those settings already then i wouldn't be able to play with it done wired.

I've tried everything i think, there is nothing obvious that stands out to me that could be the problem that is preventing me from hooking it up wirelessly.

Any more help would be great thanks.
