Uh I hate that word 'single' as If you have to have a 'double' in life!!

and before anyone starts its not that i hate men because i don't, i know that there are some lovely ones out there. just at the minute i have zero intentions of putting my heart on the line again.

That is fully understandable I hate cheaters took me over a year to get over one of my ex's who cheated on me with a friend.

tbh it would have been easier if he had cheated on me. at least then its clear cut. this guy was just mean, the last few months of it he was just nasty. not consistently so but he'd just fly off the handle for no reason and then come back crying that he was sorry. very unsettling position to be in. Thankfully i had the sense and the strength to end it before it got even worse or i ended up getting a slap. but i was completely demoralised, you doubt yourself y'know? Well that is far worse as its also drains your self esteem if its making you doubt yourself so much. I guess you were smart to get out of it and away from him before he got any worse.

Best thing just enjoy been single and have fun

I don't think you can be that general, not all men are letharios! I myself am not looking for any 'cybermuff', I have done the dating/marriage thing and now am just looking for some decent friends who don't want to waffle on about the latest football topics, politics, GAA, cars, boxing, (what is the point of that? no matter how much you paid me I wouldn't get in a ring and let someone knock 7 bells out of me!) or the usual blokey things.

But if that's your view of men on here, then so be it. Just wanted to try and put my point accross and not be sla99ed off for it.
