For a change, I'm listening to a more mellow, reflective kind of music.

Over the last half-an-hour, I've been reliving memories of Suzanne Vega on Youtube - songs such as "Luka", "Tired of Sleeping", "Book of Dreams" and at the moment of typing -"Left of Center". She was great (I haven't heard anything from her in about 10 years) at what she did. I was listening a couple of different versions of "Marlene on the Wall" yesterday. A unique singer/songwriter talent. Live, she was a great storyteller too.

you need the whole story behind the album that it's taken from, www.sftbh.com

basically an album that was written inbetween Rivers' best work (weezer and pinkerton), also the song is a demo and Rivers is playing every instrument and doing all the vocals so it's off key in bits and sounds quite weird as it was recorded in a 1/4 step down from original guitar tunings so that is sounded like 1/2 step down on the tape it was being recorded on.

staying on topic of the thread

the beatles - the white album.
