Heavy rain pushes eastwards over southern areas of the UK this afternoon, with winds beginning to pick up across southern coasts. Brighter spells in Northern Ireland, while rain will also affect northern England and Scotland through this evening. Into tomorrow, Storm Eowyn will arrive in the early hours bringing dangerous conditions with very strong winds and heavy downpours.
