Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Does the elite have the same issues with the rings of death as the normal xbox does ? Happened twice with my last 360 and was thinking of getting an elite but dont think I'll bother if those issues remain.

    also, if I mod the xbox I can say goodbye to the warranty right ?

    No warranty + red rings of death = money down the toilet!

    Pre Falcon chipset models - yes.

    Ones *with* a falcon chipset - inconclusive.

    You dont. But then again i hav'nt seen anywhere online where buying a 360 is significantly cheaper than the shops.

    Do the elites make as much noise. How do you know if you buying falcon chipset in shops. Anyone know a good place to trade in your xbox for an elite?

    Gamestop is deffo the best place to trade in your 360 console.They'll give you 260 for a premium.However trade in you games somewhere else GS give terrible prices for used games.You'll know if your getting a falcon by checking the wattage.If its 203W its an old one, if its 175W its a falcon. I got a falcon in GAME a month ago so they're prob in all mainstream shops by now.Apparently the new falcons make less noise but TBH i've noticed nothing, still LOUD as ever unfortunately

    My one make just as much noise as my premium, possibly even a little more when it's idling on the dashboard... Pretty damn unhappy with that after deciding to buy one based on the praise that I've read about the Elite's noise levels here...
