Aberdeen have only lost twice at home this season. Once to Celtic and once to Motherwell when I think they rested players just before a UEFA cup tie.

right as much as i love the fun bets - getting 7/8 teams to be "wins" is v.hard - so i reckon this treable has a better chance of happening - 17/1

Aston Villa v Tottenham
Premier League Matches, Tuesday 1st January 2008, 17:20
Tottenham @ 2 - 1

2 Celtic v Rangers
Scottish Premiership, Wednesday 2nd January 2008, 12:30
Celtic @ 6 - 5

3 Middlesbrough v Everton
Premier League Matches, Tuesday 1st January 2008, 15:00
Middlesbrough @ 9 - 5

Tottenham - are scoring goals for fun these days and Berbatov is scoring for fun, so at 2/1 i think there great odds -villa's win against wigan was there first in 6 so spurs for me.

Celtic - well this is a coin toss and i picked Celtic simple because there at home.

Middlesbrough - was really undecided about this match - orginally went for everton, but everton have lose 2 of the last 3(albeit by man u and arsenal), but boro are beginning to find their form.

Fulham v Chelsea
I'm not touching Chelsea til they at least have Drogba back. Fulham are pants but at home with a new manager, they could cause a shock here. Might go for Fulham +2 @ 4/9.

Villa v Spurs
Looks like a low scoring game to me. Spurs don't score much away from WHL, their record at Villa is terrible, one win in 14 years, and the schedule must be taking its toll on fitness. The emphasis will be on defence and trying to keep a clean sheet I reckon. So, if I go for anything it'll be unders or 1-1 CS.

If Lawro agrees with either of these, I'll change my mind.

Reading -v- Portsmouth Under 2.5
Man United -v- Birmingham City Under 2.5

Bolton -v- Derby County Under 2.5
Blackburn -v- Sunderland Under 2.5

How regularly do they get their overs/unders predictions right James? There are a few predictions here that I would oppose. My predictions would be:

Fulham v Chelsea Overs
Reading v Portsmouth Overs
Utd v Birmingham Overs
Villa v Spurs Overs
Arsenal v W Ham Overs
Liverpool v Wigan Overs
Newcastle v City Unders
Bolton v Derby Unders
Blackburn v Sunderland Overs

I haven't had a bet yet for tomorrow but I'll have a good look over the next couple of hours.

Their bets are only on statistical data, no human input. I'd guess about 70% of the time...

I just use it as a tool to help... Past performance is the best indicator of the future n all that malark

just quick question can you do a lucky fifteen on the soccer or is it restricted to horses and greyhounds:confused::confused:

I appreciate the fact that it's stats more than anything else. It's always good to have tools like it to help with selections

My selections for tomorrow.

Ipswich v West Brom
Backing West Brom @ 2.5
Ipswich have a great record at home with no losses and only 2 draws from 12 games but I think West Brom are best placed to test that record.

Southampton v Watford
Backing Draw @ 3.33
Watford are on a bad run but I think they can take something from Southampton – I don’t think it’ll be 3 points though

Bristol City v Coventry
Backing Bristol City @ 1.86
Although Bristol City have lost their last 2 (both away from home) I think they’ll have too much for Coventry and at the price I think they’re a really good bet.

€25 treble pays €365.25

A lucky 15 can be done on the football. Not just restricted to horses and dogs. For better odds i occasionaly do first goalscorers or scorecasts in my lucky 15's, as opposed to backing straight wins.

• Closed Accounts Posts: 88,978 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Some team news

Rotherham v Macclesfield
Macclesfield are without top scorers Francis Green and Martin Gritton.

Aldershot v Woking
Aldershot's top goalscorer Joel Grant is recovering quickly from tendinitis and may keep his place. Woking midfielder Matthew Gray could return after injury. Paul Lorraine could start at full-back in the absence of Matt Ruby with a broken hand.

Burton v Stafford
Burton goalkeeper Kevin Poole remains doubtful with a bad back so Saul Deeney may retain his place in goal. Striker Jake Edwards will hope for a recall after netting two goals in the Boxing Day win over Stafford (yes its a quick return meeting for these two, Burton won the away game by 3) Stafford striker Nathan Smith is a doubt with a hamstring injury.

Mike.

Tottenham & Everton both to win..6/1 boylesports.
2/1 spurs alone.
spurs are in form and everton are gona be too much for middlesbrough

For reasons quite beyond my comprehension, I have single draws on the following;

'boro/everton
reading/portsmouth

In the unlikely event that either come off I might double the winnings (ha) with something on the villa/spurs game (high scoring draw?)

Go for it I did. Traded out at HT and backed Chelsea to win 3-1 @ 16/1. As long as they don't win by any other 2 (or a 3 or 4) goal margin, that suits me.

I've gone for 20quid on Utd to win, 12corners or more and more than 35 card index points @ 5-1 on PP

Good start to the day.

Bognor to win @ 16/5 and win/draw @ evens is my main pick today. Banking on Havant fielding reserves to rest 1st teamers ahead of their FA cup match on saturday.

Combo with Barrow and Buxton too.

For me today:

1 Aston Villa v Tottenham - Over/Under 2.5 goals (Backing Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.88)
2 Man Utd v Birmingham - Half Time/Full time (Backing Man Utd/Man Utd @ 1.64)
3 Middlesbrough v Everton (Backing Everton @ 2.51)

Done a treble and 3 doubles.

Good luck to all.
