Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thats the place upstairs from Aubars?
Ive heared some really dodgy stuff about it. Apparently its the only place that does extensions in Limerick but its not meant to be very good. I would reccomend a day trip up to Dublin and using Cowboys and Angels. Its the best for hair extensions. http://www.cowboys-and-angels.ie/profile.html

if theyre glued in it can make your hair thinner. my friend who has thick hair said alot of her hair came out when the extensions were being taken out. i have think hair and opted for clip in. works a treat :)

The weight of the extensions will pull out the odd hair - how much depends on how well they're done. So with thin hair this might be a problem.Clip in ones that you can put in when you want to might be better for you.

Met with the forementioned Salon...and they think I should be ok....but I'm not certain. Problem is I'm trying to grow my own hair long...and with fine hair it's difficult....Hair extensions were recommended....about to start Rogaine as recommended by my G.P....and a supplement. Has anyone ever tried a hair system? Which is extensions of sorts?.

Isnt that even a little bit wrong? Anything done to your hair is bad for it. Washing you hair is bad, drying it is bad, brushing it is bad. Im pretty sure that hanging other peoples/animals hair out of your hair is bad. Especially if its woven into your hair pulling on a group of hair. Your head needs to breath, thats why people who wear hats all the time tend to end up being bald.

Hair extentions damage your hair, no matter what quality - its a known fact.

    hi,

I have to say if you are getting extensions, go to:
    www.cinderellahair.co.uk

And you will be re-directed to a salon close to you. Cinderella hair not only is 100% human hair, no glue used to keep them in: its protein *(which hair is made of) but they also supply all the products which will be gentle enough for the extension but will look after your hair too. Which is important as normal shampoo & conditioner can loosen the extension and leave them "Gummy" that some of your own hair may actually sort of stick to the bond.
Whatever you do, ask what brand they use. If it is a good name brand, they will not hesitate to show you the leaflets and tell you about it. Then you can look the company & product up. I have had extensions sevral times and was most happy with cinderella Hair.

LoL!Your hair doesnt need to breath!and your not exactly suffocating it by putting extensions in!

Ive had glue in extensions done twice and my hair is in excellent condition much better than most of my friends hair. I use the right products(shampoo and conditioner without protein) and deep condition the ends every week. I've had my hair extensions in on top of getting yuko starightening done twice and my hair is long, glossy and luscious :)
If you go to a reputable place then your hair will be grand.

well... alot of the synthetic stuff is also mixed in with horse hair... now thats yuccky... all the human hair is completely sterilised, processed and coloured so that might be some concillation...

Yeah but from an ethical point of view Im sure the origins of the human hair that is used must be pretty dodgy.
