    BE ONE Storm 1.0

It seems fairly decent for the price and 40% off? It's for my brother-it's his first roadie so any bike'll feel a lot better compared to the mtb he uses.

Also, he's 6ft2- what size does he need on a semi-sloping frame? 57cm?

    Cheers

Seems like excellent value for a 105-equipped bike.

    That's what I thought.

    What about the size though?

Dunno what we're gonna do about storage, that'll be 3 roadies and two mtbs with all the other shít we have in a tiny shed now!!!

Dunno enough about sizing, to be honest. It's not just the frame size that matters, though - it's the stem length and also (obviously) the saddle height.

yeah i know, not the easiest thing to do when ordering online. I was lucky with mine, I got it off wiggle and they had it set up pretty much perfect for me. I only had to move the saddle back and raise it up a little bit. I think the 57'll do for my bro and then adjust the saddle and stuff from practice.

    Cheers.

I'm 6'2" myself and I own one of these with a 56 frame:
    Lapierre RCR 500

It's semi sloping and is the perfect size for me, so I'd say the 57 would probably be a good choice for your brother.

    I'm 6'3" and have a 58cm compact frame. A 57cm size should be fine

Arghh, the cabbage ordered keo look cleats with shimano A515 pedals - they're incompatible right? Would Keo Looks cleats even fit on shimano shoes? I think the shoes he ordered are SPD-SL like mine. I'm pretty new to road bikes so I'm not sure myself.

    Cheers.

Expect the wheels to last a couple of hours, Im 6 foot three and 14 stone and those Alex wheels got dumped in the end. They may be better now but I doubt it. For 500 quid its not to bad as it probably similar to the Specialised Allez which is Sora or Tiagra for the same money.
