Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    no idea about works
usual stuff - make sure C: isn't full
    retry in safe mode
save the document as a different file type in case it's corrupt - try .rtf

if you have broadband try openoffice , you will have to save as a different file type, don't worry because not even microsoft office can import works files with downloading special filters

reinstalling will re-inherit many settings, even if you do a remove all before un-installing (microsoft still do NOT know what the word all in "remove all" means)

Why not change over to Open Office instead of Works? Much better app if you ask me.
