    Hi...

I'm doing my theory test this w'end and will be in the tax office first thing monday with my application and all the requirements for a provisinal license.

Does anyone know what the possibility of getting the license on the day is at the tax office?

    Has it been done before?

    Thanks

None of the Dublin tax offices will process it there and then. I believe Cork City does. You will get a pink receipt which is enough to ride on. You have your licence as soon as you get the receipt and yor licence is valid from that date, not the date you receive it. It only takes a few days for it to come out to your house.

If your in Cork you can get your licence immediatley.
Edit, just saw your in Meath, don't know how long it might take up there.

I rang Navan County Council today as they are the main office for Meath. They tell me that it takes 3 days including postage from making the application..

    Not too bad at all
