Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Turns out it was all internet generated hype and that nothing to do with a new console/SKU was revealed.

This doesn't look very realistic. CES anouncement was to do with set-top box features and extender features. new contract with disney... etc.. .etc

It can allow up to 100 gigabyte/s memory transfer rates. At that rate, the small 256mb of main memory should be plenty if the software it's running allows for this configuration. Also the 256mb of graphics memory is enough too for now.
100GB/s is the theoretical max of the technology Sony licensed for the PS3. The actual bandwidth between the Cell and system memory is 25.6GB/s.

I think that's why he said "up to 100GB/s".

But it can't allow up to 100Gb/s, thats the max of the Rambus XDR running at 6.4Ghz. Sony has it running at 3.2Ghz.
