    24", converted to metric is 609.6mm. This is less than half a mm from 610mm (the limit). To the nearest mm, 24" is legal.
    Bare in mind that the barrel will vary in lenght with temp. Over a few degrees, the lenght will vary a few mm.
    Also the fact that barrels might not exactly 24", or the extra section in the chamber.
