Cheap in France/Switzerland?

I'm looking to head snowboarding in France/Switzerland, as I've already been to Italy (Livigno x 2) and Austria (Soll last year & St Anton in Feb).

Looking a few places but the main theme seems to be crazy prices for drinks, etc. Most resorts are now fairly cheap to get to but where can you get value once you get there? (basically reasonable booze, ski pass and lessons)

    Thanks,
    Willy

I've also been to Livigno twice and soll once. I was in France last year and we boooked everything seperate and to be honest it was the most expensive ski holiday with the worst accomodation I have ever been on. France is way too expensive.
Why not look at some of the many other resorts in Austria or Italy like Sauze D'oulx, that's what I'm doing for the main trip this year. They seem reasonable and good skiing areas too.

I skied last year in Flaine France and found it great. It was relatively cheap €800 approx incl lessons and beer etc wasn't to expensive if you hit the happy hours. Great skiing aswell for all levels.
