    My back garden.

    Front garden.

    Snow004.jpg

Footpaths getting a nice thick layer of snow.

    Snow003.jpg

Road snowed over and getting thicker by the minute.

Footprints - These are my own footprints. They've disappeared in the last 40 minutes because of continuing snowfall.

Sorry if pic quality ain't good - am useless with photography. Am delighted with the snow - on my birthday \o/

It looks about the same as here now but there was more at about 6.30. There's a fair bit of drifting here too. I'll post up some pics when the snow has finished for this evening.

More from Drogheda. The yellow-ish ones are taken without a flash (longer exposure) - its kinda bright out there with all the snow!!

I used to love that light when I was a kid and lived in Dublin when it snowed, great pics.

    The N2 in Ardee.

    Snow022.jpg

Statue in Ardee - like his snowy cap!!!

    Snow021.jpg

Postbox @ Church, Ardee. My Dad has to empty this tomorrow >_<

8ft tall snowman outside my house.

That bench in my garden is in a pretty sheltered area, so you can imagine how deep it is in unsheltered spots.

Truly magical evening... there are people all over the place taking pictures, and dogs rolling about in it. I imagine it'll be a long time before we see snow like this in Ardee again :)

It rained for a while here in Drogheda, but still plenty of snow in the ground. Some pics from earlier this morning - more on flickr!

Thanks Takeshi & Mothman! There's bend in the canal, so I was still on dry land (almost) for that shot. :)

PS: Takeshi, sky/cloud shots in your flickr stream are fantastic! Great color and fantastic cloud formations!!
