Eircom Wireless

Hello! I have eircom broadband and I want to connect wirelessly to our modem. My sister has her laptop connected but someone else did it for her so she doesn't know how it was done! She said it was something to do with going on to a site and registering or something. Does anyone know what I have to do?

You need the password for the wireless network. Use your sister's laptop (or connect the wireless router to yours using a patch lead) and go to http://192.168.1.254 and open the Wireless page. Look at the password. Find out whether it's WEP or WPA. Now, using your laptop, scan for wireless networks, select yours and enter the key.
