I wasn't sure what it would be like, but so far so good. Poor John.

    This is hilarious.
Matt Lucas making fat bastard (as he will be known from now on) say and do all that crap is tv gold.

    What is it so far?
An all round musician, boxer, psychic to name but a few.

I hope they make him keep up the lies until at least tomorrow.

There's nothing I love more than winding up a bunch of complete strangers, so this is tv heaven for me.

While some are annoying, there is a refreshing sense of them having some substance over the "normal" housemates.

This might be interesting, I guess only time well tell how it pans out. Some of tonight was cringeworthy in terms of the wind-up, but it certainly was a good way to kick it off

That was hilarious. Really hope it remains funny - hadn't planned on watching it at all. Threw on the last 5 mins on E4 & thought it was so funny, I switched to E4+1. That poor guy - I was so mortified for him.. Great entertainment!

I can't remember ever laughing so much watching telly on my own. I'm not the type that laughs out loud at films, comedies, or anything with acting tbh but reality situations like that I find hilarious. Top class entertainment. When done Matt Lucas.

I dont like to admit it but that was really really funny. That emilia girl is gorgeous.

I was looking for pictures of 'Jade Eden' (the beauty queen one) on Google, and discovered that there's also a black porn star hoe called Jade Eden

I predict that John will win this.

Am I the only one that thought this was awful? It was like watching a car crash. Matt Lucas desperately trying to be funny by making the fat ugly bloke make a fool of himself. The only thing I laughed at was that artist girl's VT. Just at the little signs she left about cleaning things. Hopefully this will be the shot to the head this show needs. Kill it off once and for all.

It depends on your sense of humour really. I think Friends and the Simpsons are a good watch but I certainly wouldn't laugh out loud watching them. I couldn't stop laughing last night tbh. The hugging, stroking, pretending to be a musician, Irish dancing, group circle, random cake thing, pretty much every awkward thing he was made do was hilarious imo.

I have to say I don't think Matt Lucas is funny at all.
I was amused by the task because I can imagine it'd be fun to do
it to someone but it seriously could have been funnier.

We've all got a different sense of humour. :) One of the funniest things I've ever seen on TV tbh.

I loved it myself, I thought the new format with Matt in charge was great :)

I'm still cracking up watching this.

He got so confused listening to Matt that when he was asked what instruments he plays he just said "I play". 2 seconds later and he continued the sentence. :D

Wow, that's some prediction, you're really sticking your neck out there!!!

The guy has a free ticket to the final, which is probably why the bookies are also tipping him to win too.

Watched it last night and thought some bits were quite funny while others were cringe worthy. I even started to feel sorry for the guy but then I remembered that the guy put himself in that position by deciding to go on Big Brother and then thought , "Dance Monkey, Dance!!!"

Quite interesting that all the candidates have actually done something of note rather than the usual chavs and slags. Although, it does look like there are a lot of egos there so I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of fights.

And finally, the age group thing that they went for is quite interesting. Getting more and more like Hollyoaks.

I'm gonna put a few quid on the boxer to win it.

    He's only 7-1 though

At this stage it's really a lottery.

You do realise you don't have to watch it? Nobodys forcing you so stop the bitching.

Funny how people "hate" it so much yet know what's happening so often. It shouldn't be killed off just because some people don't like it and think it's "not cool". Some people actually do like it.

5/2 favourite now. ;) There's a long way to go though.

I knew I could hear an Irish twang from Emelia's strange accent. Her mother is Irish. I was wondering where she got her looks. ;)

I just saw her mother on BBLB, knew she had to have Irish in her when I heard her. Irish accent mixed with something else, sounded quite odd but you could hear the Irish in her. :)

Who's everybodys favourites? I don't actually hate anyone this year, bit strange. I like Anthony and Nathan probably the most, but I also think Calista could possibly be good. Nathan is a great singer!

I usually ****ing hate Russell Brand, but he did a great job of BB yesterday, it was hilarious! He really doesn't like Jeremy, the whole camera man thing was funny too... generally don;t like the celeb thing as much as normal BB but this is great, maybe the best one yet.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,013 ✭✭✭✭eirebhoy

I wouldn't be Jeremy's biggest fan either. He'd the type of person I couldn't have a conversation with. I didn't know what to think of Jade. I thought she was putting a lot of it on but when I heard she got her first kiss at 19 it made me realise she's just not very street wise at all. The brother of Emelia seems a bit of a knob. Other than they all seem decent. I doubt the women like Emelia. She'd flirt with herself.

I had actually forgotten that tbh but even if he loses that free run I'd say he'll win it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,149 ✭✭✭ZorbaTehZ

I actually quite like Victor and Jeremy, they're good craic in the house. That Jade has serious issues though, definitely not BB material.

Emelia asking Aimee about what Brand said about her paintings in the diary-room was priceless :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,659 ✭✭✭magnumlady

I think Russell was great, so funny. Its a shame he couldn't be the hijacker for longer.
    When is the first eviction?
