    Right, after drinking my share during the hols I'm now officially off alcohol until end of January. As luck will have Feb 1st is a Friday :D
    If you see me drunk during this time I'll buy you a pint at next beers.

    Well I was trying, but I failed when I went into a pub talking to a friend of mine, was there for two hours drinking coffee and I was grand, then a few more came in, talkin' away, then BAM! I had a pint bought for me. Now, I don't know 'bout you, but I wasn't raised to insult a man by refusing a pint... :D But as of this morning sure i'll wait off it 'till February.

    Anyone else want to join in on this little endeavour?

    Best of luck with the month off from booze, I think they're a good idea every so often - at least, just to make sure you still can ;) Sadly, in generally takes me 3 tries to get a successful one.

    Bonus - at the end of it, ur a cheap date again! Tho that turns into a minus if you forget that and put 'em back like you were used to doing.

    Oh, it went well. Had my first beer on Feb 1st after staying dry since my new years party. About 5 weeks. Saved a bit of dosh too.
