:)Hi, Just came across a website skydsl offering broadband anywhere in Ireland through satellite, anyone know anything bout this? broadband is unavailable where i live.

SkyDSL is just a download accellerator for your phone line.

Check the Wireless Operators See the FAQ. There are MANY alternatives to DSL on Phone line.

If you really need broadband by satellite and no Fixed Wireless, Cable or Metro is available, then you need two-way satellite. SkyDSL is not Satellite Internet or Broadband, It's a Satellite receiver only.
