Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was thinking of getting in ripwave with irish broadband.

I guess I could go for the cheaper option for 18.95 a month with download speed of 512kbps.
The modem for it supposedly doesn't need any wires and just plugs into your pc.

Would it be possible to plug their ripwave modem into my xbox 360 and play online and download games?

Has anyone ever given it a try or know?

I was thinking of getting one, so I rang up and they said no, it wouldn't be fast enough for online gaming.

the speed fast enough for gaming but the ping is not thats the time in ms it take a signal to be sent and replied to by the other end.

get it over a nice copper line or that shiny glass kind you'll have good ping at and get higher speed for the same price

I have this and though no way would it work but tried it last night (2 of us playing on my end) for a few hours and it was perfect minus one game where it skipped... note I have full signal most of the time and was only one night but so far perfect (trust me I am in shock 2 as I know how crap ripwave is :))
