Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, I have 2 wireless router - 1 x USR 8054 and 1 x Linksys WRT54G and I wish to link them wirelessly together to increase the range of either one has.

I need the wireless link between the two to be secure as well as the wireless connection from each of them independently. Ie the whole transmission from start to finish needs to be secure.

    Questions:

    is this linking possibe

    how is it done

how can I set up the security angle of it

can I, if I need to, connect to either one of them - ie if I am at either end of the line with my computer

Am aware that USR8054 can run at 125Mps and WRT54G at 54MBs - speed isnt actually important though I would need to be able to connect to the quicker router speed without reconfiguring the whole link / transmission network.

Can anyone point me to any information on this matter.

    Cheers all

    HPMan
