Hey people, I was just wondering about peoples opinion on this speaker.http://www.thomann.de/ie/the_box_pa_15.htm. I was thinking on getting this to play music along with me playing the drums. I do have a mixer and would be planning to play the music through my mac or ipod. Also I was wondering if there is there any good…

Hey people,

Also I was wondering if there is there any good reasonably priced loudspeakers out there that would play directly from my ipod?

They would be grand for that purpose, but you'd need to buy an amp also

An active speaker might be a better option eg http://www.thomann.de/ie/the_box_pa108a_aktive_fullrangebox.htm
