Apologies folks no offence meant it's just I had a fancy this evening for honour oak in the same race and I wanted to gain better insight into Zimmermans backing.

Your "fancy" Honor Oak wasn't in the same race as Thunder Speed...

You are not quoting anyone in the above statement, you clearly state in the above post "the horse was 16/1 when he put it up" as if this was correct,i have a printout from PP from the night before and through the day showing the horse was a best price of 10/1.

You are aware that if you are quoting someone there is a simple way to show it.

Hahah paddy power !?? good lad !! Hahaha my god this gets better and better bahah

This is getting out of hand , let's move on and get over this and move on with our lives. I will explain, I came on this afghan minefield to post Dorans donk 16/1 at the time, I had good information that the owner had placed substantial bets on the race. I came across your mind boggling tip stating an 11/4 had a good chance, my goodness my gracious before you check has the pony 4 legs at that price of course it has a blooming chance and you'd hope it would have more than a good chance parting your gains at them lowly miserable odds on a chilly night in Dundalk amongst a very poor field.

What was even more mind boggling was I was at Dundalk yesterday evening and word came from the yard to stay away from your choice and for us not to waste our time on it. As you can imagine this perplexed me and I actually paused mid sip of my delightfully oaky creamed Guinness to investigate and question you further - something I rarely do.

In any case I wish you and your band of merry men well, again I meant no harm to you or your family.

I will Not darken your door any further. I do however wish to let it be known to the casual browser of this thread that I have every reason to believe that there are employees of top bookmakers amongst us (I know I know "fukin hell") so before you part with your hard gotten coppers on "fancied ponies" please take the time to pause mid sip of your creamy black majestic ale and ponder to your self, where is this post originating from and what are their agenda for posting it - as I can assure you, 90% of men with insider information will not be sat at their computers with their underpants around their ankles tabbing between the racing post - this forum - and youporn.com

I shall leave you too it , be wise be safe and have more respect for your money.

I wish everyone luck and enjoyment who decide to folllow my Texan jack today each way, now 25/1.

And yet here you are again

Agreed, once you've contributed near 100 wins then you'll qualify for an opinion, Zimmer's a gent, he shares when he could just go about his own business.

I dont care what prinout you have,i told you already,i quoted that the op said he had it backed at 16/1, i also went on to tell you i dont care what was the best price available,i also asked you to explain how i was after timing if i didnt even back the horse. Men in white coats indeed

Read back where you stated "he backed it at 16/1"as if it was a fact, you supported the view that he backed the horse at 16/1 when you did not have a clue whether or not it was true.

Ya ya jog along, winners do the talking I appreciate all contributions but knocking someone with such a proven track record is going full gob****e. Problem round here is lads always going after the golden goose, so willing to cut off your own nose to spite your face, winners are winners and that's what we're here for, where's the absolute bollox in that?

Oh look, it's the same insecure weirdos who seem to care so much about other people's betting habits and tips. How they're not banned from here at this stage is a mystery.

Sorry for getting involved in in all that went on and enough is enough as far as I am concerned and I hope I was not out of line.

To sum up as I see it (correct me if I am wrong).Someone referred to "skulduggery" and said I was trolling when I posted a tip for an 11/4 chance that was backed in to a shorter price and was 2nd to one trained by Aiden Obrien, some posters defended me against the guy who appeared confused and contradicted himself several times.

Another small group defended and supported the op and one of them repeated the lie that a horse that original poster did not even know the time he was supposed to run,but yet claimed to have backed it at a price that was never available.

I am not knocking anyone just pointing out the absolute bollox talk of saying someone doesn't deserve an opinion unless they have tipped 100 winners. Also there is nobody on this thread with 100 winners so the thing would be empty.

The game is all about opinions yet anyone that questions Zimmer (even if hoopey was aggressive himself) is met by a barrage of abuse from numpties losing their bollox blindly following other people's selections.

So you agree that unless you have 100 winners you don't deserve an opinion?

Ok, I'll back off and agree that everyone is allowed an opinion, god knows I didn't manage one winner with my attempts.

BUT I just don't get why there seems to be a couple of posters here with an absolute hardon for Zimmer, the guy's the second coming of Rossom, god knows we'd be a lot poorer without him, he posts, you follow or not, that's it.

Any one can have an opinion but hoppy or whatever the f1ck his name is pulled zimmer on a bet and said he had one better in the same race.
But the horse wasn’t even in the same race.
Anyways iam am done with this. Zimmer you are welcome on the horse racing thread if you decide to leave this one.

You should not try to put words in my mouth, but perhaps you might answer a question,do you think it is mischievous for posters who do not regularly post on the fancies thread to thank losing posts and ignore posts that tip winners and if are not aware of that situation you might look back a bit on the fancies thread to see what I mean.

I actually enjoy reading Zimmers thoughts on races that don't include o'meara getting to the 100 mark.

However the second part of your post is a myth to be honest. I have no doubt that Zimmer knows his stuff and can pick some winners however his overall record is pretty poor and if you backed each selection to a 1point win or 1point e/w stake you would be at a considerable loss. The many aftertiming posts are used to create a perception that he is a more successful than he actually is.

Rossom is a different class. There is a reason why one predominantly posts in the horse racing forum and the other here.
