Gonna bump this up a bit.
Someone gave a tip for Son of May a few weeks ago, backed from big odds to 6/1 and came third. I thought after the race the horse wanted further.
Happened to be in the bookies for the last at Southwell today and it was running over 6f again and more money down, backed into 6/1 from 12s I think. Stayed on to finish a close 4th.
This horse wants at least 7f so keep an eye out for it.

Goes today in 3 o'clock at Wolves. 4/1
Was hoping it would be bigger. Steps up to
7f as I thought. Today is the day I think.

Balls anyway !! This donkey will win me some money.........one day !!

Queen are you sure that horse was available at 3/1? I was up at around ten o'clock to back it and best I could see was 7/4, ended up at 11/10

A friend told me he was in the paper at 3/1. :) It was a massive drop from 50/1! I suppose you wouldnt have got much back off him in the end.

Finished 3rd that night. Also just beaten a head last night in Dundalk at 9/1.

Anyway one for today and one for tomorrow.

2.45 Lingfield Palace Moon i know its fav but have been told from a good source that its expected to go in again today.

4.50 Leopardstown tomorrow.DANCERS DILEMMA. Have been told from as good a source as you can get that this horse will win the bumper tomorrow. Advise to get on early if backing the horse as it will be well punted.

Palace Moon won easy on Saturday at 7/2.

Dancers Dilemma beat everything but the fav. who could end up being a decent type. Dancers Dilemma should win a race or two in the future.

Will post if i hear anything this week.

Good stuff. I just had a quick look at him, nothing wrong with his first run over hurdles at big price on heavy ground. Just be afraid of 4 yr old hurdlers and Mullins and Roche could have something lurking. Cheers though I'll have a few quid on if the price is right, let us know if ya hear anything more bout it.

This around the clock would want to be above average to beat Mullins fav!

Simple enough answer is dont back the horse if you do not think he will beat the fav. Nobody is putting a gun to your head making you back it.

I'd rather back a horse who showed promise over hurdles at 9/2 than an odds on horse who has never jumped a hurdle in a race. If Around the Clock was from Mullins' stable or Meade's he'd be about 2/1 against the fav.

Was there till about 2 out and faded badly. 40/1 winner 16's and 12's finish in the money. Says it all really.

Didn't realise the price was going to be as short, but Defy Logic is expected to win the bumper at Navan today

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 972 ✭✭✭supernova84

I couldn't back a horse with that jockey riding, he is p1ss poor. Best of luck with it though!

    Good man Urban :)
That horse would want to be decent enough to beat the fav though....

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

I see there is some money behind the fav too, but this horse was meant to run in a hot bumper last week and was well backed (11/4) before being a non runner by about half 10 in the morning.

Stable lads from Nolan's stable told my uncle that this is the quickest horse he has ever had and is expected to win first time up, with the jockey being the main worry

Right lads, im posting my first tip !!

    Bertie's Dream today at Navan.
A general 5/2 shot (sorry its not bigger)

Just got a text from my mate involved in the syndicate that owns the horse. He said the horse is in great nick today and they expect him to win and all going well he'll to for the RSA - 25/1.
