COD4 games controller for PC?

    Ebay is full of PS3 type dual shock games contollers for the PC...

    Has anyone tried a 3rd party games controller with COD4, does the rumble function work with COD4 ?

    I have the Ms XBOX controller for PC and it doesn't work.

    That being said, it's so much slower than a Keyboard & Mouse that I'd be annihilated online :p

    Keyboard + mouse beats console controller any day of the week!

    Won't work with CoD4 on the PC anyway! :p

    Thanks for the good advice guys...

    A mate of mine recommended the XBOX controller because he uses an XBOX.

    One other question... Do PC's and XBOX use the same game server?
    I'd like to meet him online and compare keyboard/mouse to controller :D

    As far as I am aware in FPS's where Console players are going to be able to play against PC players teh console players will be given a bit of Auto-Aim. At least I think thats how they do it in shadow run.

    Still... They'll get p@wned anyway!

    I don't understand why FPS games on consoles don't come with keyboard & mouse support. They have USB connectors so why not use them??? :confused:

    That they will.

    I'd imagine there is not really that much of a demand for keyboard and mouse support for console games. One of the big things about consoles is ease of use. With a keyboard and mouse you would have to be sitting at a table/desk something which most console players are not really going to want to have to do.

    does anybody use a game controller?
    having played the game on ps3 for weeks before buying for pc i have gotten used to gamepad...does it work fully on the pc?? does anybody else use one??

    I used the Xbox controller for Crysis & Bioshock. It works well, just a bit slower turning is all
