Vibration buzzing from dashboard

    Hi All,

    I'd appreciate some advice please.

Recently bought an 02 Astra. Every thing's fine except for an increasingly annoying vibration from the dashboard, which increases over the course of a journey into a buzzing sound.

I think it's coming from the air con unit above the radio. The attached picture shows the layout of the dash (a different finish to ours).

If I put pressure on the air/fan grill under the radio display the sound almost disappears.

Could the sound be a vibration caused by a lose fitting or something?

    Oh, forgot to attach pic....

But failed again. Boards is having issues with uploading pics I think.

Anyway, it's like this but right hand drive.

From looking at those pictures I don't think the vibration noise is coming from the dashboard, I'm pretty sure the vibrating noise is being caused by loose change that fell down the back of your grannies armchairs :D

It's not my car!! It's just an example pic to show what how an 02 Astra dash is laid out.

Try pressing against the speedo and rev counter screen when the noise starts, I find that's what annoys me in the Corsa, also the ashtray hinges could be stiffer and that causes a bit of noise too.
