Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know if the garda have any power/obligation to deal with stray dogs. Stray alsation around here today, called the dog warden but we are not in his aerea and too late to call the other area one.

The dog seems to have been left off and probably hungry but I would be afraid to approach, had to hop out of car open gate, drive in, close gate. he was barking showing the teeth earlier, and would run to car when door open. Don't like to see him hungry but I would be afraid to approach

The Control of Dogs Act gives Gardai the power to seize stray dogs.

While the Garda may have specific powers, they won't always use them. The will prioritise their work according to instructions and importantly for you complaints. Get your neighbours to complain also.
