Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sound gone on Nokia 6230

Yesterday the sound went on my Nokia 6230. I put it in slient profile while at the cinema but now I can't get the sound back. The ring tone, message alert, alarm etc is gone, however I do get the beep when I delete a text, lock/unlock the phone & put the phone on charge. I also get the keypad tone when I press a key. The vibrate works, but no sound.

    Weird or what.

    I have:

    set the profile to General
    checked/changed the incomming call alert
    checked/changed the ring tone
    checked the ring volume
    checked the message alert tone
    checked the Alert for
switching the fone on & off
    switched on/off bluetooth, irda etc
changing numerous combinations of the above

This fone does/did not get any hardship.

I also had a friend of mine have a look at it & he is baffled.

I am considering a factory reset but only as a last resort

Anyone come accross this before & have a maagic solution?
