A super competitor and she wasn't too shabby on the looks front either

:p Careful now or you might get into trouble like Bill O' Herlihy and the athletics analysts did during the Euro Champs in Gothenburg for commenting on Deirdre Ryan's looks! :D

She was a fantastic athlete, and, as you said, a great competitor. Her legacy, or part thereof, will be her indoor WR, which, I suspect, won't last if Vlasic has anything to do with it!

    Here's the link again:

    ...and the EAA one:

I know, I know I'm bordering on being sleazy but she is class. Must be something about swedish high jumpers as my wife loves Stefan Holm although I always suspect it was just a counter to my Kajsa fascination. Now that she is gone, focus will move to Allyson Felix:D

I think its something about Female high jumpers full stop. Have been to a couple of world champs and although I'm not a huge fan of the field events the high jumpers always manage to grab my full attention :)

Let's hope forget Susanna Kallur doesn't retire soon or even her twin sister Jenny from Sweden.
Makes the 100m hurdles even more interesting when Dervla O Rourke is up against them.
