Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gears of War online lag

    Hey

    I just got a 360 for christmas and have been trying to play GOW online. But everytime I play I suffer from lag. When I fire a weapon, it doesn't actually fire till like a second after I press the button.

    I am aware of problems with LIVE at the moment, but I have heard that all the servers for GOW are hosted by gamers on their xbox, hence that you should always try to be on the hosts team as its a big advantage. Does this mean that there will always be a certain amount of lag everytime you play online? As its kinda hard to determine the location of the server as it doesn't show you ping or nothing like that.

    Edit: By the way I can play online games on both the ps3 & pc (dont have any other online 360 games besides crackdown) fine, so its not my connection :)

    News to me? Is that not just private unranked matches? Either way, Im presuming they're using the same backbone as live, thus they would be affected by the severe Live issues over the last few days.

    On a separate note, cracking good game :D
