Today is Bowie's birthday

(Elvis birthday too BTW) I remember reading that someone once described Bowie as the single most important rock/pop artist ever - the gist of the argument being that Elvis didn't write his own songs and that there were four of e.g. Beatles/Stones etc. He's passed his best but still surprising and interesting I think.…
