Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

looking for some help in selecting a phone for recording video.

i know if i want best quality i showed just go for a camcorder/digital camera - i have one, thats not what i'm looking for.

and i'm pretty sure that the N95, N82, Viewty are top of the market at the mo as are their prices which is why i'm looking for a cheaper option.

    the n95 records MP4 640x480 @ 30fps if my sources are correct.

do any other mobiles out there (of the cheaper variety) match this or come close?

does anyone know what the SE k800i records at?
is there any resource on the web where i can compare these, i cant seem to find anything.

    all help appreciated, thx.

AFAIK the k800i records video at a piddly something like 177 x 144. Video seems to be its only weak point.

    Jimmychin,

You can record video on the Nokia 6233 in pretty decent quality. You can select higher resolution format than the more recent 6300. I know the 6300 has 128x96 and 176x144 cos that's the phone I have. My bro has a 6233 and there are 4 resolution settings available 2 of which are higher than mine - can't remember what the figures are, but picture quality is definitely impressive - his videos definitely look better than mine.
