    Hi,

I have work colleagues from Sweden going to dublin for 2 days, they want to eat in a modern cool place (there is about 80 of them) on a Wednesday evening.

They also asked about bars where they could go and nightclubs that would be open on a Wednesday. I suggested Market Bar but thats the only thing i can come up with .

Can anyone give me some ideas/tips that i can pass on?

    Thanks

My other half went to a stag there a few weeks. It was a Saturday and they waited so long for food. They went in at 6.30 and didn't get dessert till after 9. Also the amount of wine the group went through was staggering. There was about 20 of them there and between cigars, wine, other alcohol and food the bill was huge.

When are they coming over. You're going to find it hard to get anywhere for that many people at that short a notice. What would be the food budget?
    Some suggestions:
    Pearl Brasserie
    Eden
Venu Brasserie (basement on Sth Anne Street)
They would all be modern and fairly cool and have the room to cater for the group, trying to find a place for that many people is the problem. A cheaper alternative would be Odessa but some people don't like it

Bar wise, well what do you work in? That'll make a difference in terms of recommendations

    Thanks for the replys

They are heading over in 2 weeks, and are very anxious to sort out a place asap. Ill check out the ones you mentioned.

They work for a large education company, young crowd of mostly Swedes that know how to have a good time. The budget would be fairly decent i think, they are a generous company when planning trips.

    Thanks again

For a group of that size, RhodesD7. They can seat 250 so would easily handle it.
Then down to Keatings in Mary Street with the huge heated terrace for scoops.
    Can I come?:)
