Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fair play to the little scout, thats what I call serving the community.

Hope they get a new scout hall for his efforts!

A boy scout saved the president of the Maldives from assassination today when he grabbed an attacker's knife as he was about to strike.

Mohamed Jaisham Ibrahim, 15, suffered badly cut hands in the attack, but President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom escaped unharmed when the knifeman leapt from a crowd of well-wishers.

"This fellow in the crowd with a knife in his hand attempted to stab the president in his stomach," a government spokesman said.

"But a 15-year-old boy came in the way and grabbed the knife. One brave boy saved the president's life."

Has President Gayoom no personnel bodyguards?
If my son did the same for Bertie i would be very upset with him.

He wouldn't have have to protect Bertie, sure everyone knows he can't be killed off.

Of course his does - boy scouts. They're much cheaper than proper guards.
