    Hi all,

I ask on behalf of my mate, who is looking for me to price a turbo for him for his 1.6 VZR. A quick google scan has brought back few results :(

Anyone have any ideas? Or if a turbo is not possible, what would you do to improve the bhp?

    Cheers

    Dave

i'm sure it can be done but you'd be talking a pile of money, not cheap at all, you'd need to completlely re do the engine to make sure it was capable of handling the boost and you'd have to up grade your brakes and all that too. I done a quick google on it as well and cant even find an owners club so you should try asking in the NOCI section at this website - http://www.driver.ie

I forgot I was registered to driver.ie, cheers.

Any ideas about realistically upgrading the bhp of the car? Someone suggested taking the bottom half of an SR20DE engine and plonking that on the VZR?

I'd just stick an air filter on it, run a straight through exhaust and be done with it. But he won't listen to me :(
