I had braces for four years.
I got them off about 1 yr ago almost. Just today, my Dr placed this fixed bar about an inch long behind my top front teeth, you cant see it from the front. He said its to stop my teeth incase they move.

Is this really nessecary? Its permenant, i.e he said its there for life. Its quite annoying and is effecting my speech even.

    Cheers

    Hi there,

Necessary, absolutely! you've invested 4 years in straight teeth. isnt that worth spending a week getting used to a little bar in there that cant be seen?

Stick with it ... i'll be worth it!
