    So what's the local feeling towards thye Mayo Echo over there now? I understand it was never seen as an 'important' newspaper, but has it been damaged and shamed by the whole furore or has it managed to 'dodge the bullet' so to speak?

    Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Yes, although the Mayo advertiser always surpassed it for quality, they were always left together in newsagents and in local businesses. In Newsagents, the echo is now stacked at the back in most places and in local businesses it isn't there at all, just the advertiser.
