How is the 335d a "far gayer car" than the 635d?

The 635d like all 6 series BMWs is hideous to look at.

    What is "gay" about a 3 series?

And why is a 320d "lousy"? Not everyone can afford a 635d, let alone a "mere" 320d.

Anyway this argument about whether a car looks gay or not is well.... gay in itself. People should buy cars that suits them, not because of their looks or because of the badge on the bonnet, I hate badge snobbery and reg plate snobbery, something that is very common in this country these days.

Now a days you can pick up a BMW 3 series or an Audi A4's for next to nothing second hand. Bought an 320d myself nearly three years ago when not many people had them, now the country is polluted with them and their not holding their value any more. Would I be right in saying the Ford Mondeo is more exclusive then the BMW 3 series???

Why is it that so many people assume that because something happened in the UK, then the same must also be true for Ireland?

The Mondeo is a far more popular car than the 3 series here, based on the amount of each car I see here. FWIW BMW sold 6952 cars last year, compared to Ford who shifted 21,256 cars last year.

I don't know the exact figures, if someone had them it would be greatly appreciated, but BMW shift around 2,000 3 series a year, and Ford shift around 3,500 as far as I know.

The Mondeo is outsold by the BMW in the UK however, because you can run one as a company car for no more than the Mondeo, due to the fact that the resale value in the UK is far higher with the BMW than with the Ford.

Uhhhh whatever car offers the best compromise in terms of whatever you value from a car be it power, economy, space, style, reliability, etc or whatever. Drive them and see what you think!

Rich people don't need to save a few quid by driving a diesel - ESPECIALLY a 6 Series. Truly rich people don't buy BMWs either. Common as muck. Yours, hetrosexual 335i owner.

are you talking about yourself? trolling the op by calling him a spammer, a dirtly old man, a hairdresser and gay?

8 mins later Timmaay tells him "http://www.carzone.ie"

Would I have been better off telling him to get lost, he drives a bmw:D:D:D

The above stupid argument between two bmw drivers is reason enough for me to do the typical "its a bmw, dont let him out" when i'm on the motorway etc:)

I dunno. Any lad that refers to himself as a "guy", there's something... up, or should I say, different. ("21 year old guy seeks fun loving guy for fun and maybe more"). Have you considered a Smart ForTwo. It might suit you.

Only up to a point. There are some cars no-one should be allowed buy (eg Merc CLS, Ssanyong Rodius).
