My First all Vinyl mix in 10 years, a DECADE! Moved onto digital djing but I got A lend of 1210's and I'm hooked again, I'm going back to vinyl :-) All old techno from 2004 or older. Bit rusty but I'm getting the hand of beatmatching properly again, some of the records are well worn so there's the odd click and pop.

Oh I videoed the mix too, if you are arsed watching it make sure an stick the quality up to 1080p so the bit rate is at its max for youtube

Tis me yeah. I play a weekly gig in a cafe here in Winnipeg and play Downtempo beats and some hip hop/trip hop sorta stuff to start, sometimes reggae. Then funk and soul after as the night goes on so this was a great excuse for me to play a loada stuff I used to play at house parties and stuff like that that I've not had the chance to recently.

Cool. My pleasure. I love that style of DJing. When I was younger I used to read about David Mancuso and Larry Levan, and how they incorporated a bit of everything. It sounded great, but I honestly couldn't break away from house and techno mixes. That's just where my head was at back then. But I'm older now, and with a much broader taste in music. So I'm really into DJs that mix it up. The tracks can be wildly different, but a good DJ knows how to join the dots and tell a story. Very impressive. Keep it coming!
