Just wondering if anyone saw this week's Questions & Answers programme on RTE1 - apparently it has been suggested that a 'restricted license' should be offered to some people who fail the test but not by a huge margin. This license would have alcohol and time restrictions on it. I'm not sure I'd be a big fan of it…

I'm not sure I'd be a big fan of it personally, I just want to pass the test properly but it might suit some people - did anyone else hear of this idea?

I wouldn't be a big fan of that. If you fail, you fail. I don't think there should be a pass by compensation.
