Ive a 97 mtech and the brakes have been havein some serious vibrations through the pedal lately. The ABS diasbled light will come on and there will be some whining noise from the engine which corresponds to the vibration on the brake pedal. This can happen while slowing down but often when Im crawling through traffic not using the brakes.

At one stage about 3 months ago I braked heavily behind a car, and the engine stalled, the dash lit up like a xmas tree and engine would not idle just drop off as soon as I let off the accelerator. After that incident I changed front brake disks, brake wear sensor, pads all round, bled the brakes and replaced the brake fluid. But the problem is pregressively returning now.

Any ideas would be well appreciated.
