Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I bought a laptop running vista and everytime I open mail through outlook i get an annoying message saying to activate office. I really do not want to purchase office as I have no need for it...Can i disable it or will it take the snazy outlook away too?

Was Office provided with the laptop?

Activating Office is usually done after it has been purchased, unless its asking you to buy a product key.

Why are you opening mail in Outlook if you do not want to use it?

    Just uninstall it.

Yes, Outlook is part of Office.

A lot of laptops come with an Office 2007 trial.

Vista does have an email client (improved version of outlook express), which if you uninstall outlook will appear in the start menu underneath Internet Explorer, where Outlook currently is.
