Building a closet in an unused chimney

My house has a chimney on both sides, as old houses tended to have a fireplace in each room. All the fireplaces bar the sitting room are blocked off. The small bedroom hasnt alot of space in it, what I want to know is it at all possible to build clostet in the chimney in this room? I should mention that I share this…
