Does anyone have experience with installing a stone panels on an interior wall? e.g. http://www.stonepanels.ie/index.html Can these be put against any interior wall (e.g. regular partition wall) or does it need to be a brick wall to handle the weight? Has anyone experience or recommendations for an alternative solution?

They can be installed over timber frame... but you need a fiber-cement board and not just plain old plaster board.
