Does anyone know of a site where I can bring my old batteries for disposal other than going to the Landfill site at Kinsale Road? I've also got an old rechargeable razor to go but I've no idea what to do with it - any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Navigation house takes them too, it seems.

In France, they have battery recycling bins in all the shopping centres. Why not here?

Thanks for the very prompt reply! I've never heard of Navigation house so it looks like the only sites in Co. Cork that will take household batteries are Kinsale Road and Millstreet. Incredible...

B&Q have their WEEE recepticle just inside the door so its an ideal place.

Raffeen out near Monkstown takes most electrical waste including batteries and is free.
