Theres a reddish star up overhead and I'm wondering if its Mars or am I seeing things? In Dublin btw.

Yeah, Mars is the bright red star just above and to the right of Orion and the the left of the Plaieies.

Wrong. Mars is the bright red planet just above and to the right of Orion and to the left of the Pleiades.
