Have shortlisted 20 games, will look at detail and post something up later. Some good games/picks this weekend by the looks of it.

Berbatov & Keane are on top form to play Chelsea who have an unbeaten home record. Anelka will possibly start for Chelsea and will give them a decent striker.

Predictions; 2-1 Chelsea, Over 2.5 Goals, Shevchenko ATGS

Chelsea have only failed to score once in their last 5 games(arsenal) And spurs have not failed to score in more than 8 games and only kept a clean sheet in 1 of them.

I would suggest Sunderland - Pompey but Harry might have moved by tomorrow afternoon.

Shevchenko still has an ankle injury i think

Here we go 1 bet on at the moment

    €20 accum returns €182.97
Luton v Swansea - Swansea win evens, on form at the moment and 5 1st team regualrs have walked from Luton this week so should be a comfortable win
Grimsby Town v Wrexham - Grimsby win 8/11, Butler and Hird back for Grimsby and they are starting to play well again on the other hand Wrexham are ****e...they have lost there last 6 matches.
Hucknall Town v Kettering Town - Kettering 8/11, should be a banker bet (if there is such a thing)
Vauxhall Motors v Burton Albion - Burton 8/15, Burton playing very well at the moment and have a full team to choose from.

Also going to go with Eduardo to score goal at anytime, Spurs+1, QPR+1 and I fancy Man City/Wigan away wins although it is a bit of a gambool (perhaps look at putting in a low stake accum).

Luton sold 5 players during the week.
Club seems to be in disarray.
Will try and lay them this weekend i think

yea was kinda beginning to think about that - and looking at preston win/draw at 4/7 to cover my bet or just lump more on swansea on as a single - cause to be fair - can't see swansea doing anything other than winning...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,772 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

Right as long as swansea win i'll be ok - so everyone on boards - get on luton or draw at 8/13 - cause lets face it - i'm on a very bad run at the moment...

Luton lost those players and the club is in crisis but they still have one of the best home records in the division and they should be up in 11th place but were deducted 10 points. I'll stick Swansea in a small combo but too risky for me for anything else.

    Draw no bet treble
    ===
    QPR
    Palace
    Ipswich

I like Valenciennes @ 10/11 at home to St.Etienne. Excellent home record against one of the worst away records.

    €15 Combo
    ========
    Valenciennes @ 12 - 5 cleansheet win
    Man Utd @ 4 - 5 cleansheet win
    Barrow @ 5 - 6
    Hemel Hempstead Town @ 4 - 7
    Fleetwood Town @ 2 - 5
    Witton Albion @ 1 - 3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,772 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

yea i agree that luton are still a good team - and that the players will want to preform well espeically as we're in the transfer window, but with all the changers,i just hope that they lose, but no player will want to get injured and miss the game against liverpool next week, and so mightn't give 100% - here's hopin

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,890 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

I'm going safe and backing Swansea or the draw in my multi bet for the week -

    1 Celtic v Stirling (Backing Celtic @ 1.05)
2 MK Dons v Barnet (Backing MK Dons OR The Draw @ 1.12)
3 Arsenal v Birmingham (Backing Arsenal OR The Draw @ 1.03)
    4 AEK v Veroia (Backing AEK @ 1.17)
5 Man Utd v Newcastle (Backing Man Utd OR The Draw @ 1.04)
6 Lyon v Toulouse (Backing Lyon OR The Draw @ 1.08)
7 Porto v Braga (Backing Porto OR The Draw @ 1.1)
8 Luton v Swansea (Backing Swansea OR The Draw @ 1.34)

Odds are 2.36 on betfair so not bad.

(afterbet alert) I was listening to fivelive this morning and Steve Harley was reccomending a bet on the nags for an eachway, rather madly (I had just awoken) I switched the PC on and placed a 10 tenner on Naunton Brook and it came in so I have 22.50 euro.

I'm nearly tempted to put it on a 4-4-2 Arsenal but I'll keep my powder dry for the Utd./Newcastle game.

    Mike.

Slightly after-timed. Just found a letter at my old address saying I have a fifty quid free bet on my PP Dial-a-Bet a/c (which I haven't used in at least three years). Went for

    Bristol City @ 4/7 (let's face it - Colchester are ****)
Doncaster @ Evs (apparently Carlisle has been under the influence of that bug)
Swansea @ 11/10 (for same reasons as everyone else)
MK Dons @ 4/11 (I always fancy them at home)

€50 free bet to return €450 - fingers crossed

Looks like there's a lot of people banking on Swansea - let's hope the Luton boys aren't putting themselves in the shop window too much and have their eyes on Anfield

    Went for

    Mk Dons
    Swansea
    Watford
    20 treble

    Charlton 2-1 up
    Swansea 1-0 up
    Wigan
    Liverpool
    Bristol City 1-0 down:mad:
    15 acc

    Screwed if swansea dont win.
