Soot on walls and ceiling of ensuite

    I foolishly left a large candle burning in my en suite last night with the door shut and discovered this morning that there is soot everywhere.

    does anyone know the best and most efficient way of cleaning this off?

    it gets everywhere - every time i try to clean something more soot falls on it from somewhere else!

    it's very frustrating. please help!

    Stuff called Sugar Soap may be the best bet.
    You can get in any DIY/Paint suppliers.

    Hoover first then maybe as 10-10-20 says above. Dry clean as much as possible before wetting it (or maybe let it dry if you have wet it already)
