Snowfall for first time ever in Baghdad!

Funny old world when deserts can get snow but we by and large can't!

It doesn't seem unusual to have snow in Tehran,they had it last year aswell.

But Baghdad is unusual.
That said,a northerly does head very far south when it aint cut off and this one sure is packing a punch! -7c and snow grains as we speak.. in Tehran.
It's 4000ft above sea level and being in the middle of a large land mass that helps.

This time last year Baghdad had 8's and 9's in celcius as maxes so kind of like Ireland really except believe it or not we get more snow :rolleyes:
