Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Home wireless internet.

    Hi, I'm looking for some help, i have irish broadband not the one with the phoneline now the wireless type, which comes into a box that has an ethernet connect coming out of it which going into the P.C. and thats works fine but i now have a laptop and would like to get access to this anywhere in the house with a wireless router just not sure which one would be needed. The laptop has a 'Intel pro/wireless 3945ABG network connection' so the router i buy will need to connect to this? any help? sorry v long winded one there!

    you will need something that has 5 ethernet ports on the back, 1 for input(your irish bb modem) and 5 outputs for your computer and other devices. like this:

    If you're talking about IBB's Breeze then the Linksys WRT54G will be perfect. It's what I use. Dlink and Netgear will also have suitable routers. Just avoid Belkin.

    And as allen has said, you're looking for a router that has an ethernet WAN port. So avoid anything that mentions "DSL".
